With the Winter X Games just around the corner everyone is starting to feel the excitement for what will surely be another amazing set of competitions with the greatest winter action sports athletes in the world.  This year will be the first time the Winter X Games will have 2 adaptive competitions for medal results.  Not only do the athletes compete for X Games medal they will be broadcasted live on TV.

New this year to the line up is the Adaptive Snocross race.  This will feature athletes that have suffered injuries in the past but are competing again to show the true spirit of an action sport athlete.  HEAL is incredibly proud to have both Doug Henry and Mike Schultz competing in this event.  Both are past X Games medalist and are the top competitors for this event. Doug will also be competing in the Mono-Ski event at the X Games this year.

ESPN has just put up an article about the addition of the Snocross adaptive race and talks about both Doug and Mike for this years exciting new addition to the X Games program.
