An Explanation (an apology)

Saturday March 13th Stimilon will host its first ever Winter Warmup Event.  This is a fun race (much like the famed Stimilon Motocross Challenge over the summer) to jump start everyone for the 2010 racing season.  It will be held at Mototown USA.  This is the race that doesn’t matter, because there are no points, no consequences, nothing – it’s just to dust off your winter cobwebs and have fun banging bars with your buddies!

Many will use our race to prepare for the NEMX Season Opener at Southwick on 3/27 or the NESC Season Opener (again) at Southwick on 4/3.  Yet still others will come to race with us because they know that Stimilon Events are just a blast.  Either way, welcome.

To bring the 2009 year to an end, Seize Promotions is having its 4th annual skater of the year CT contest at Haven Skate Park.  Head over to Haven on Dec. 31, 2009 to either participate, if you have the skills, or come watch the contest of the year go down. 

There will be a cash prize hand out as well as prizes from various companies including yours truly, HEAL Clothing.

Sign up starts at 1pm and contest will run to about 6pm.  It ends with enough time to get you over to your next stop of the night for the New Year festivities you have planned.

If you don't know what MoM (Masters of Mini) is, here is a quick summary.  Take your average adult, add some protective riding gear, an interested in Motocross, and what should be their child's dirtbike, put them all together and they race around full sized motocross tracks on half sized bikes.   Its always a good time and some have bigger little bikes than others (they could be over compensating for something) but everyone is there for one reason and it is to have fun.

HEAL has been lucky enough to be a part of these races this year and with the season coming down to an end luckily it seems like they are saving the best ones for last.  The next round of the MoM series is taking place at Rock Hill Motocross track www.ctmotocross.com on Sunday, October 25th.  They are adding a few extra perks and races in to make this race special compared to the others (which is hard to do). 

Refer a friend and get an extra 3rd or 4th race for FREE!!

Pre-register and get an extra practice (some of us could use this so take advantage of that one guys)

They are bringing back the Relay Race (more info at the MoM website below)

And since it is the weekend before Halloween there is a costume race. 

The costume race alone should be a reason if you are not racing to just come and watch the racing.  How often do you watch grown men on little kid bikes?  So come over to the Rocky Hill Motocross track this coming Sunday for what will be one of the best rounds for the Masters of Mini series.  Good people, good times, and some good old fashion racing for fun atmosphere.

Seize Skateboard Shop located in Shelton, CT is having a skateboard contest/demo on September 19th, 2009 to help raise money for the skate park.  HEAL is going to donate a few items for prizes and have someone down there to help represent HEAL for the day.
