2013 will not only mark the end of the X Games in LA, but will also be the end to and era of one of the best BMX riders to compete in this prestigious competition. As Kevin Robinson retires with 2013 being his last X Games as a competitor, you can watch him this Friday night in BMX Big Air which will surely be a great event to watch with a lot of emotions going through all the riders that night as Kevin has helped to shape not only Big Air but a lot of what BMX has come to be today.
This might be K-Rob’s last time as a competitor but I can almost gurantee this won’t be the last you see of Kevin at the games or of him continuing to help progress the sport of BMX. Either through his commintment to helping the youth and upcoming generation of riders with the K-Rob Foundation, his Target programs at Camp Woodward, or his pure desire to inspire and motivate others to push the sport to levels he thinks it is capable of, Kevin will still be heavily involved in the world of BMX.
HEAL couldn’t be happier or prouder to have someone like Kevin as part of our family and wish him the best of luck this week at X Games. Kevin has no doubt left a mark on the sport and we will continue to see him keep etching that mark deeper as time goes on. Congrats on one hell of a successful career competing and best of luck on the next chapter in your life this brings you to!
